I think this means that once you do good all things come unexpecatdely and unknowingly. It means that if you choose what is right you will get a reward from it. Dean Smith wasn't trying to coach a team for himself, he was trying to coach a team for them and so that they can win and be good. He wasn't trying to be loved or leave a legacy behind but he was trying to do his job and coach a team well. Because of this he gained the reaspect of his team and they loved him because he never forgot about them. So this shows that you should always do good because sooner or later you will be rewarded for it and praised for it.

This means that in order to truly educate yourself you have to educate your heart first. In order to learn you have to educate your heart first. Also, you have to learn thath you have to educate yourself from both places. This kind of reminds me of the saying you hear but you dont listen. You have to educate your heart in order to educate your mind.

I think this means that it's better to have no friends than to be surrounded by bad friends.It is better to be by yourself than to be full of people who are bad influences and that make you do bad things. For example if you hang out with people that drink and smoke, then you will most likely begin drinking and smoking too. That is why it is better to be alone. By yourself you can't develop the habit.

Doing the right may hurt you a little bit. It means that you'll have to suffer sometimes.This means that you should choose the right at all times. For example, if someone is trying to get you to do drugs, smoke, or even drink, you should be smart enough to walk away or deny their offer. If you choose right over wrong, you will feel good about yourself. But if you do accept their offer, you will feel bad about yourself and feel guilty too. You should choose the right because you are aware of how these substances harm you and how bad they are for you. When you do the right thing you will feel good about yourself. For example if you do what is expected before they tell you, you will feel good that you did what you were supposed to and you might even get a praise. When you do the bad thing you will feel bad about yourself. For example, if you don't do your homework then you will suffer the consequences and feel bad about yourself.

I think this quote is trying to say that if you tell him what is right he will stand up for it and fight for it. He will fight off the wrong and stand up to what is right. He also means that he won't let the wrong get in the way even if its the better thing to do. For example, if someone is being bullied because of race and you know it's wrong you should do something about it and stand up for it. Because racism is bad and if you ignore the problem, it will only continue to happen. 

My experience so far at HPIAM

My experience at HPIAM has been good. The school is alright. I am a freshman. I don’t like wearing uniform and it’s too expensive. $25 for a shirt is not cheap and they are not even good quality. I think we should be allowed to wear uniform. Maybe if they were $15 it would be alright but they are not. They should make the teachers wear them so that we can protest together. The quality of a shirt doesn’t matter we should just wear regular material shirts instead of sports tee shirts. They’re thin and will rip.  Another thing I don’t like about this school is Tuesdays. It is crowded enough every day when our school is in lunch, when all 3 of them go out to lunch it’s even more crowded. The lunch lines are really long that particular day and the line to the student store is too. Overall the schools maintenance is good. The school is pretty clean. They also don’t open the bathrooms in the hallways. What is the point of bathrooms if they’re never open and you can’t use them? It’s unnecessary that we have to go all the way downstairs when there is bathrooms right outside of class. The teachers are OK too. They all have their way of teaching but they’re good. Some of them take time with you and others don’t. As for clubs and sports, I have not joined any. I feel that if I join any extracurricular activity outside of school my grades will go down. They have a good variety of clubs though. There are many to choose from. Sports are OK too. There are also a lot and a lot to choose from. Maybe next year I’ll care to join. So far, I’m trying to keep up with my classes.

This means that when you feel something wrong its because your doing something wrong, For example, if you are being pressured into doing drugs or anything like that but you feel bad about it and still do it, you are choosing the wrong. You will feel horrible and guilty. Your mind feels when you do something right and when you do something wrong. When you are aware that you are choosing the wrong you will feel bad and guilty. When you choose the right, you will feel good about yourself.

I think this means that only you can make a change for yourself. It means that whatever I do either it good or bad I can only change what I did. If you do bad things you are the only one who can change that mistake no else can. If a drug addict want to stop doing drugs, only he can make the choice. Only he can send himself to rehab.

Choose the right always because you wont ever be in the same situation again. It means that you should always do the right thing because you may never know if you are put in that situation again. Once you skip an act of kindness you can never go back to it again. For example, if you see a homeless person on the street you should help them out right then and there because you never know if you'll see that particular person ever again.

I think this statement means that once you practice doing what is right it will become a life long habit and you will probably never worry about doing wrong things. once you do the right thing you will feel better about yourself and if you do the wrong thing your conscience will continue making you feel guilty.

Diana Nyad

These messages are meant to make you strive for success. First, you should never give up, no matter how hard it is because if you give up you might loose the chance of anything getting better. Second, no matter how old you are you can accomplish your dreams. This means that your age isn't preventing you from making your dreams come true. Diana Nyad was 64 and she still swam from Cuba to Florida after numerous failed attempts. Last, you can't accomplish your dreams by yourself. You need a team or a partner to support you and give you advice the whole way.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

I think this means that if you know what is right and you decide to not do it when you are capable of doing it, then you really are a coward. If you decide to do whats wrong when it is so easy to do the right then you really don't deserve much. You should always do the right thing despite if its hard or not. For example, if someone offers you to do something bad like steal, or do drugs or anything wrong then you shouldn't do it because it is so easy to avoid problems and just say no. 

College Athletes' Honestly Caught on Security Camera

In Wayne, N.J four young college football players decided to go into a store that had been a closed an hour before they went in. The store was unlocked and the lights were on so they had no idea it could be closed. They got the items they need and left the money on the counter including the tax, even though there was no cashier. These kids chose the right because they could have easily stolen what they needed, yet payed for it instead. These kids went worldwide and all over the news. They were later praised and even given a $50 gift card.
