STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT
"To know what is right and not to do it is the worst cowardice."
Confucius
I think this means that if you know what is right and you decide to not do it when you are capable of doing it, then you really are a coward. If you decide to do whats wrong when it is so easy to do the right then you really don't deserve much. You should always do the right thing despite if its hard or not. For example, if someone offers you to do something bad like steal, or do drugs or anything wrong then you shouldn't do it because it is so easy to avoid problems and just say no.
College Athletes' Honestly Caught on Security Camera
In Wayne, N.J four young college football players decided to go into a store that had been a closed an hour before they went in. The store was unlocked and the lights were on so they had no idea it could be closed. They got the items they need and left the money on the counter including the tax, even though there was no cashier. These kids chose the right because they could have easily stolen what they needed, yet payed for it instead. These kids went worldwide and all over the news. They were later praised and even given a $50 gift card.

Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school.
All biomedical engineers have at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Many have advanced graduate degrees as well. Courses of study include a sound background in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, and specialized biomedical training. Most programs last from four to six years and all states require biomedical engineers to pass examinations and be licensed.

My Summer
By: Naibe Rosas

My summer was pretty uneventful. Most of it was spent at home with my family. On August 2, my brother, his girlfriend, and my cousin, went to Universal Studios. We went several times because of the fact that we had a yearly pass. First, we went on the Studio Tours that takes us around Universal Studios. We decided to go to that one because the attraction gets packed. Later on, we went to movie effects. They showed us how they made despicable me. After that we went downstairs. First we went to Jurassic Park. That was by far the best. It took around an hour to finally ride it but it was worth it. Then we went to the mummy which also took a long time but it was also good. A few hours later we wanted to go on Jurassic park again but my brother and his girlfriend didn’t want to. We agreed that we would split up and meet up later. Me and my friend went downstairs again and rode the mummy 6 more times. We only went to Jurassic once because it was night already and it was cold. I also went to San Diego to go visit my brother. It was good to see him. After that, we went to TJ because it’s just a few minutes away. We ate there and bought a little bit of stuff and came back. It took like 3 hours of wait to get out of San Diego though. In total it was 5 hours to get back home.

"Always do right."
Mark Twain

I think this quote means that you should always do the right and choose the right path. When you are put in a difficult situation always do the thing you choose to be right. For example if anyone ever tries to pressure you into doing something like drugs, then you should know whats right and stay away. Doing the right thing will make you feel good about yourself and you will feel better than if you had actually done it.

Student Success Statement
"Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time."
Arnold H. Glasgow

This means that you should always do what is expected of you and you shouldn't go fooling around and also that you should do it right when you are told. For example, to succeed in your class, do what the teacher tells you to do like homework or classwork, put thought into it and don't just write anything to rush through it, and do it when it is assigned or due. This means that you should always do things correctly when they are expected of you, do it on time, and surely you will be rewarded. Don't do things at an inappropriate time, don't do around doing whats wrong because you will suffer the consequences of it.
