Environmental Health Specialist- Sanitarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental health specialist’s use natural sciences to protect the environment and human health. They collect and compile environmental data from samples of air, soil, water, food, and other materials for scientific analysis. They analyze samples, surveys, and other information to identify threats to the environment. They plan environmental problems and develop solutions. For example they work to reclaim lands that have been taken by pollution.

Salary: $63,570

Education: To become one, you must have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science such as biology, chemistry, physics, geosciences, or engineering.


Reflection:  I would not like to be one because it does not interest me.
