“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
President John F. Kennedy
This means that we are only fully capable when we are at good health and our body is strong. If you have a healthy body then you have a healthy mind and that will lead to success. When your body is healthy you have the confidence you need to do anything.

Student Success Statement
“No student ever attains eminent success by simply doing what is required of him/her; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction.”
Charles Kendall Adams, American Historian
This means that you have to do more than what is expected to achieve success. You have to do more in order to get more. If you only do what is expected you will only fill the requirements that you were expected to do. In other words, you only do the least you can. For example in order to fulfill the requirements in a class you need only to get a “C” but if you want to be successful and do more, you will get an “A.”
Optical Laboratory Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Optical laboratory technicians grind and fit eyeglass lenses into frames according to prescriptions written by ophthalmologists or optometrists.  Technicians set lens grinding machine so that lens blanks are ground and polished. They then fit the polished lenses into eyeglass frames and, depending upon where they work, fit the frames to the patients.  Some ophthalmic technicians work in optical laboratories or for optometrists or ophthalmologists.  Many work in retail stores that have optical departments.

Salary: $15,000- $20,000

Education Requirements: A high school diploma or GED certificate is needed to begin optical laboratory training.  Training programs last between six months and one year and are provided by vocational schools and community colleges.  Some retail store optical departments provide on-the-job training.

Reflection: I would not like to be an optical laboratory technician because i dont like the job and the salary isn't satisfying.

"Doing what is right, fair, and honorable is more important than winning or loosing."
Chick Moorman
This means that if you do the good thing and follow every rule, that would have been better than winning or loosing. For example if you cheat in a game and win. you will not have been right, fair, and honest rather the opposite.
