Ophthalmic Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:   The duties of an Ophthalmic Technician are several. They include taking patient medical histories, instructing patients about medications, tests, and procedures, performing various vision and diagnostic tests, assisting ophthalmologists with patient procedure, coordinating patient scheduling, and supervising and training other ophthalmic assistants.
Salary: The average salary is between $30,000-$70,000

Education: You need to have a high school diploma and 2 years of college to begin the ophthalmic technician training. These programs are usually 2 years.
 
 I dont want to be one because the career doesn't interest me
